Garry Howland Passes
I want to note this here until I can write a proper
obituary to go up for the records. Recently we learned of the passing of Garry Howland. Garry was a pioneer in the industry
and a great friend to those of us at Scuba America. He will be missed.

Note from Tom Tillman... As I always told my father and tell almost everyone I meet - WRITE IT DOWN. Everyone has a story
to tell and everyone should take some time to write down their thoughts and stories. Even if you never publish anything or
you don't think anyone would care you still need to do it. As an historian and genealogist I can tell you that official
records are great but what really matters is who you are and YOUR story. Leave it for your grandchildren, publish a book,
hide it in a closet - it doesn't matter just WRITE IT DOWN.
